New York, the city that never sleeps has been on my bucket list forever. New York is a trip of a lifetime for many people and to enjoy it to the fullest it needs a lot planning especially when it comes to accommodation. A city of that size has an overwhelming choice of hotels for every taste and every budget. In order to decide which area to choose for my trip there I asked my friend’s help who visits New York city every year. Here is my list with the most interesting areas one can stay in the Big Apple.

Midtown

This central area of New York packed with attractions like the famous Times Square with the neon billboards, the theatres of Broadway, the Empire State Building, the Rockefeller Center and the Grand Central Terminal station. Nice hotel options in the area include The Belvedere Hotel ideal both for business and leisure guests that offers luxurious rooms with many amenities like 24-hour room service, self-service laundry and fitness center open 24 hours. The Court offers spacious rooms with all the amenities you would expect from a luxurious hotel and at an ideal place steps away from the top attraction of Midtown. The Pearl offers elegant accommodation in a prime location with amenities that include complimentary Wi-Fi, wine tasting and a fitness center among others. No matter where you choose to stay, Midtown offers you a vantage point for exploring the city.

Chelsea & Greenwich Village

Chelsea is the perfect place to stay for the art lovers. The area boasts with art galleries, great views of the river and many food options. Popular attractions include the Union Square, the Gramercy Park and the Chelsea Market. Hotel Giraffe is great option to enjoy what the area offers. An urban hotel offering great amenities to its guests like a choice of refreshments available 24-hr a day, wine reception every evening and free Wi-Fi among others.

Greenwich Village is one of the most exclusive and an expensive neighborhood in New York that still retains its bohemian style. Attractions include several art galleries, the Washington Square Park, funky restaurants and upscale boutiques. The Gansevoort Meatpacking is a modern sophisticated hotel with panoramic views of the city and amenities that include a rooftop pool and a spa and fitness center making your holidays at the city unique.

Central Park

Another great option for your stay in New York is the area of Central Park. An oasis of trees and gardens the park is also home to many outdoor activities like hiking and ice skating in winter. Other major attractions of the area include the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Guggenheim Museum, luxury shopping in Madison Avenue, the famous 5th Avenue and trendy cocktail bars. For a choice of hotels in the Central Park area you can have a look here.

No matter what your budget and needs are, New York has an abundance of hotels and after some research you are bound to find which one is suitable for you.
